考虑多尺度建成环境影响的双职工家庭通勤时间模型

摘要:

城市建成环境作为城市空间结构的基本组成,是影响居民出行决策的关键要素。既有建成环境和通勤行为研究多以居住地邻里范围为研究尺度,以个体出行决策行为为研究对象,较少同时从城市和邻里两个空间尺度建成环境入手,并将家庭成员通勤行为间的相关性纳入考虑。本文利用2014年中国劳动力调查数据,首先构建考虑空间异质性的多层线性回归模型,探讨多空间尺度建成环境对居民通勤时间影响,其次将双职工家庭夫妇通勤时间相关性融入建成环境对通勤时间影响的分析过程中,利用似不相关回归模型探究多空间尺度建成环境对家庭夫妇通勤时间影响的差异性。结果表明:城市尺度和邻里尺度建成环境均对居民通勤时间具有显著影响,且建成环境对家庭夫妇通勤时间的影响具有显著差异,其中男性通勤时间受两个尺度建成环境各因素的影响更大。研究结论可为精细化的城市和交通规划提供理论支撑。

Abstract:

As the basic component of the urban spatial structure, the urban built environment is a determinant of individual travel behavior. However, the literature on built environment and commuting behavior tends to focus on the neighborhood-scale built environment and take the individual as an analysis unit. Relatively few studies have explored the effects of the built environment at different spatial scales within a unified framework and considered the correlations between household couples. In this study, with data from the 2014 China Labor-force Dynamics Survey, a multilevel regression model is employed to explore the impacts of the multiscale built environment on commuting duration. Then, considering the correlations between the household couples' commuting durations, a seemingly unrelated regression model is employed to identify the differences in the impacts. The results indicate that the built environment at both the city and neighborhood scales significantly impacts the commuting duration. There are differences in the impacts of the built environment on the commuting duration between household couples. Moreover, at both scales, the built environment impacts the commuting durations of men more significantly than those of women. The findings have implications for refined urban planning and traffic management.
